Hestathing was founded by Įgśst H. Rśnarsson in 1995. Hestažing’s main operations are based in Germany, but it also provides a wide range of tourist services year round at Böšvarsholt in Snęfellsnes. Hestažing organizes and markets tours to Iceland, mainly from Germany.

Tours of Iceland: We have arranged tours of Iceland for customers and staff of various domestic and foreign companies. The clients we have served include Cargolux Airlines of Luxembourg, Texaco, advertising photographers, Meindl, and a number of permanent representatives and ambassadors to the European Council in Strasbourg. We have had satisfied customers after specially arranged salmon fishing trips, mystery tours, incentive trips, to name just a few. (VIP service).

Guesthouses at Böšvarsholt
There are two guesthouses at Böšvarsholt, a new building and an older structure, both of which have excellent facilities. The new guesthouse has four double rooms, one five-bed room, and one room that can accommodate nine guests. There is also a sitting room, dining room, and a large terrace with a hot pool. The older building consists of two stories: the upper floor can accommodate 15 guests, and there are two four-bed rooms on the ground floor. Both buildings have complete kitchens and bathrooms, and are ideal for housing both large and small groups.

Travel Centre at Böšvarsholt
The travel centre at Böšvarsholt offers a range of services, both summer and winter: package tours, riding tours, luxury trips, honeymoon tours, incentive trips, mystery tours, salmon fishing trips, wedding receptions, crime nights, snowmobile trips, glacier visits, and tours to see the northern light.

Sale and export of horses
An excellent breed of horses is raised at Böšvarholt, and they are also sold and exported. You can enjoy several days of free accommodation with us – we pay half of your airfare when you come to inspect the horses that you would like to buy.
